M. O'Leary, Esq. iFocused on civil litigation matters including construction
defect litigation, real property misrepresentation claim as well as community
association law.
How
to Read and Understand a Mold Laboratory Report
This
lecture is designed to explain what the results mean and what they say about the
indoor environment being sampled. It provides an overview of sampling techniques
and laboratory analysis methods. The presentation is geared towards non-mold
consultants such as mold removal and restoration contractors, engineers, architects, building
owners, property managers and legal professionals.
Presenters
Dr.
Harriet Burge is widely considered the leading expert in
bioaerosols and helped pioneer the field more than 30 years ago. She developed
and ran the aerobiology program at the Harvard School of Public Health for 10
years, and has served on many National Academy of Sciences committees on
bioaerosols. Dr. Burge also served on the Board of Directors of the New England
Chapter of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation. Dr. Burge is a regular contributor
to the Indoor Environment Connections newspaper and has a monthly column
called "Ask Dr. Burge".
Peter
Sierck, CMC is a certified mold consultant, founder and
president of Environmental Testing & Technology, Inc. (ET&T) located in
San Diego County. Peter has conducted mold surveys since 1986 and is currently
the San Diego IAQA Chapter director.
Meeting Schedule
The
IAQA Chapter will host a catered networking breakfast prior to the workshop. The
event will consist of 4 hours of presentation time, question and answer sessions
